Capacitor Solutions for New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)

On-Board Chargers (OBCs)

The On-Board Charger is a critical component in any NEV, responsible for converting AC power from the grid to DC power to charge the battery. Our capacitor solutions for OBCs include:

  • High-Voltage DC-Link Film Capacitors: Jianghai's CBB131 series of film capacitors are ideal for the DC-Link in OBCs, offering high voltage ratings, low ESR, and excellent reliability.
  • X and Y Capacitors for EMI Filtering: We offer a range of AEC-Q200 qualified X and Y capacitors for EMI filtering, ensuring that the OBC meets all relevant safety and EMC standards.

DC/DC Converters

DC/DC converters are used in NEVs to convert the high voltage from the main battery to a lower voltage for powering the vehicle's accessories. We provide a range of high-reliability aluminum electrolytic and film capacitors for the input and output filtering of DC/DC converters.

Main Inverter

The main inverter is the heart of the NEV's powertrain, responsible for converting DC power from the battery to AC power to drive the electric motor. This is a very demanding application that requires high-power, low-ESR capacitors for the DC-Link.
